GAA 125 - 7 A-Side Hurling Competition

As part of the GAA 125 celebrations
the 125 committee are holding internal competitions in Hurling and Football for
all past and present players.
Organisers Thomas Doherty and Brendan
Hegarty were entrusted to make out teams to participate in these internal
competitions leading up to the final which was to be played on La Na Chlub day
but due to weather conditions this has be postponed until 21st June 2009.
There were eight football teams, all of which were given names of the men who started the famous GAA organisation and the hurlers were given the names of the various provinces and countries that play Gaelic games.
