Following the great success of La ná gClub day (day of the club) last year to
mark the 125th Anniversary of the GAA, the same initiative was repeated this
year.
Clubs everywhere get to organise their own day of family fun and games what ever they wished. St.Mary's as always value these club days as occasions to bring the entire club, community and parish together. The events committee once again excelled in providing yet another day to be remembered. The weather didn't disappoint either as we were blessed with a scorcher.
A full programme of events took place to cover Football, Hurling, Camogie and ladies football for all age groups. Children sports, inflatable amusements, organised races and Rasharkin's very own Rodeo Bull kept all entertained.
The club wish to recognise and thank the events committee, Thomas Doherty, Benny Hegarty, Natalie Hasson, Elaine, Donaghy, Noel Mc Guckin, Aileen Hardy, Pauline Quigg, Ciaran Hasson and Paddy Mc Larnon for a job well done.
