Annual GAA Quizz
5th March 2010
Following the success of last years
event an "All GAA Quiz" was held in Mc Laughlin's Corner last Friday 5th March.
Joe Crawford and Danny Mc Larnon were our quiz masters for the evening and are to be commended in the quality of their questions.
Thanks go to all Geals who attended especially from outside the club - Ballinscreen, Slaughneil, Glenravel and County Tyrone representatives from Loughmacrory.
Congratulations to our winners "Con Magees Glenravel" - Seamus Mc Aleenan, Michael Mulholland, Curly Mc Ilwaine and Noel Higgins who turned in a nearly flawless performance.
Joint Runners up were "Stars of the Silver Screen" - Patrick Kennedy, Patsy Kennedy, Joe Kerr and Dolores Scullion and "The Loughsiders" from Loughmacrory - Stephen Mc Cullagh, Mickey Mc Cullagh, Eugene O'Kane and Eamon Meenen.
Special thanks go to our events committee for organising the evening's entertainment.
