St.Mary's GAC held their Annual Juvenile Presentation Dinner recently at McLaughlin's Corner. Over one hundred Juvenile players attended and all received Certificates to mark their efforts in 2013. The young footballers were presented their certificates by Senior Footballer Ryan Doherty, the young hurlers by Senior Hurler Thomas McMullan and the up and coming Camogie stars by Senior Camogier Eimear Quigg.
Senior Footballer Ryan Doherty presented U10 captain Kelvin Kelly with the U10 Bellaghy Tournament Shield, and Galen Black accepted the St.Mary's Rasharkin U10 Tournament Shield on behalf of the successful U10 football team. U14 team captain Pól Hardy collected the SW U14 League Plate from Ryan Doherty.
Cathal McMullan was an excellent director of proceedings for the evening and conducted the presentations after a delicious meal. Club Chairman Michael Hardy closed the evening with his speech, thanking the management and staff at McLaughlin’s Corner for their hospitality and service, he went on to recognise all our Juvenile players, parents and coaches for their help and support throughout the season and said how we’re all looking forward to the start of another successful year in 2014. Finally, Michael thanked all the organisers of the Juvenile Presentation Dinner and acknowledged the Youth Officer Cathal McMullan for his efforts and commitment.
