St.Mary’s GAC Rasharkin announces a new club President. Life long Rasharkin Gael Dan McKay accepts the prestigious honour and rightly takes his place at the head of the club following the recent Annual General Meeting.
Dan, a devote follower of St.Mary’s, has always gave tremendous service to the club down through the decades. He managed and coached numerous teams, he was a hard working member in the club and within the executive committee. Dan has a great passion of our national games, particularly hurling and will continue to represent his beloved Naomh Mhuire with distinction as Cub President.
Dan replaces Tony McLernon as Club President who sadly passed away in March this year.
