St.Mary's Rasharkin mid fielder
Paul Doherty added to his trophy collection when he was named South West Player
of the year at SW convention Thursday past. This is a massive achievement for
the club and the county man from Moneyleck.
Paul was instrumental in
Rasharkin clinching the league and Championship double this season. He has had
some quality performances throughout the year and has demonstrated his full
range of Gaelic Football skills, high fielding, support play, scoring ability
and defensive tracking back, to name a few.
Paul, being as noble as he
is, will be the first to admit that it's a team effort and that every single
squad player contributes to success. Congratulations to Paul, it's a great
accolade and goes to a very deserving recipient.
