The Dreen Men made good use of the elements in the early throws and built up a commanding twelve point lead at the half time interval, but credit to the Glen Road side who dug deep in the second half to pull back arrears to three points. Both teams enjoyed good spells of possession and carved out some great scores throughout the second period, but it was St.Mary’s who had more in the tank to run out four point winners on a scoreline 1-18 to 2-11.

Rasharkin now face Shane O’Neill’s Glenarm at 1.00pm Sunday 14th September at Armoy in the first of the Junior Championship double header, Con Magees Glenravel and St.Agnes make out the other pairing.
Good luck to the players and management, lets get out and get behind the boys.
