St.Mary’s Rasharkin accepted an invitation from Finvoy Young Farmers Club to take part in activities at Finvoy Parish Hall Wednesday past in the second of a two way exchange programme part of the North East PEACE III Community Integration Project. A scheme which aims to help create new relationships and explore diversity through increased knowledge and confidence of local people.

 

St.Mary's were gave a warm welcome by Finvoy Young Farmers as they listened to their delevopment officer lead a powerpoint on the events and activities they have to promote friendship and team building. All attendees then split into groups to enjoy numerous noval activites including a mummy wrap, slippery football, volleyball with a defference before evening concluded with a BBQ.

 

St.Mary's would like to sincerely thank Finvoy Young Farmers for their hospitality and cooperation throughout this programme, it's another positive step in the right direction for a shared future together.
