Congratulations to Enda McFerran who collected an Ulster Hurling Medal recently beating Down in the Provincial final at Morgan Athlethic Grounds in Armagh. Enda put on quite a performance to help the young Saffrons secure victory, playing for the majority of the game with fourteen men. Starting wing have forward wearing no.12 Enda dropped back to take up the roll of "link man" and was the launching pad for numerous attacks.
This victory will go a long way to dispell the memories of last years heartbreaking defeat at the hands of the Mourne Men.
Enda now becomes the second Rasharkin man to collect an Ulster Minor title along with James O'Mullan. Well done Enda and good luck in the All Ireland Quarter final against Waterford Sunday 28th July at Ashbourne Co.Meath.
